PGY-2 Pharmacy Residency Program
The Specialty Pharmacy (SP) Administration and Leadership Resident leads coordinated efforts within an integrated PBM and SP model to identify and develop business cases as it relates to patient care and outcomes, care delivery and network quality using a lowest-net-cost philosophy.
The Resident assists in maintaining the specialty pharmacy business in accordance with departmental standards, internal and external reporting requirements, accreditation standards and pharmacy laws and regulations. They organize, supervise, direct, evaluate and validate data collection and reporting functions to ensure the provision of accurate, efficient, and appropriate specialty pharmacy services.
The Resident also supports PBM initiatives to enhance specialty pharmacy network services and value-based networks:
Coordinate strategic and business development projects
Participate in Trade, PBM and Leadership meetings
Coordinate and schedule meetings with external vendors, manufacturers and partner stakeholders
Conduct market research and clinical reviews
Cross-functional program coordination and development
Inspecting and modeling data
Requirements
- Pharm D. or equivalent experience
- Curriculum vitae
- Wisconsin pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure
- Cover letter
- 2 letters of recommendation
- Official college transcript(s)
- On-site or virtual interview
